Statement of Qualifications

McKenzie Engineering Group, Inc. (MEG) was established in 1994 to provide land planning, design, surveying and construction administration services for a broad spectrum of civil engineering projects for public and private clients. The professional engineers and land surveyors of MEG bring the benefit of over seventy-five (75) years of experienced and stable management to all of our engineering and surveying projects.

MEG is organized to provide our clients with the benefits of a single source for comprehensive services. Our firm specializes in providing civil engineering, land surveying and land planning services. Our specialized services also include structural, sanitary, geotechnical and environmental engineering. We are experienced in the design of land development projects, including single and multi-family residential subdivisions and site developments, mixed-use developments, recreational projects and public works projects. We are experts in the design of all aspects of civil infrastructure, including stormwater management, utility, roadway, water distribution and wastewater collection and treatment systems. MEG also provides project management and construction administration and inspection services.

All projects undertaken by MEG are done under the guidance of the firm's principals who are committed to professional integrity and total corporate support. Our select group of engineers and support staff enables us to successfully guide our clients through the complex permitting process at all levels of government - local, state and federal. Since each project is inherently different, our team of civil/site engineers, land surveyors and technical support personnel are well versed in designing solutions for a multitude of problems. Our proficiency with regulations and innovative design solutions enable our clients to maximize their investments by obtaining timely approvals and providing value engineering. In addition, our extensive construction management experience insures a smooth project implementation and that the final product meets the client's needs.

We believe that one of the most important assets of MEG is our technical capability. This high technical expertise is enhanced by the client-responsive manner in which it is achieved. We use our in-house AutoCAD system and state-of-the-art engineering software for generation of design drawings and specifications which promotes a highly accurate and efficient process. Our civil engineers are highly qualified in the computer analysis and design of water, sewer and stormwater management systems and transportation projects.

MEG has offices in Norwell and Danvers, Massachusetts with an affiliate located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Our engineers and land surveyors are licensed to practice in all of the New England states as well as other parts of the country. Our clients include cities and towns in New England, architects and other engineers and land surveyors, large commercial clients such as Walmart, Bank of America, Burger King Restaurants, Coca-Cola, 99 Restaurants, Border Café, Dunkin' Donuts, several automobile dealerships, residential developers, builders, attorneys and corporate owners. For cities and towns, we have specifically provided consulting engineering services to Conservation Commissions and Planning Boards, design services to Public Works Departments, and have designed several municipal infrastructure improvement projects.
